Missieur

Boyish tailoring is high on the agenda today, as i look outside and already see the autumn weather coming, i decided that it wouldn't be such a bad thing to start one of autumn/winters top trends right now. With the 70's groove still flowing through to the autumn it's no surprise that the mannish tailoring still has the Annie Hall feel. Not only can 70's inspired unisex tailoring be found, there is also a little touch of 60's high collaring and double breasted jackets. With polka dots, retro golden tones and emerald being the hot prints and colours the choices and looks you can achieve are endless and divine, I've got to say I've always wanted to live in the late 60's early 70's and this autumn i will be able to!

Top: 1. Bianca Jagger, 2.Annie Hall, 3.Patti Smith

Middle: 1. Yves Saint Laurent A/W 2011, 2. Acne A/W 2011, 3. Paul Smith A/W 2011, 4. Burberry Prorsum a/w 2011.

These items are the perfect necessities for the boyish tailoring trend. The key is to mix up more feminism fabrics and textures and play with colour, (golden tones and emerald being the favorites!) and print. These jumpers are perfect, hitting on trend colours and they have the collar to match.

Daisy Dukes!

This summer hit the beach with these interchangable outfits. Using hotpants as your base (we likes short shorts?) You can wear these outfits day or night. Wearing a mans t-shirt for extra baggyness, we all like abit of freedom, and vertically cut up from the hem you have this seasons 'fringed' effect which will look super cool on vintage t-shirts. Wear shirts tied around the waist for a walk through the town, Daisy Duke style. Cool breeze at night no problem, in a biker jacket or knitted poncho (tucked in) for night caps on the beach. Cowgirl King Of The Rodeo

Last month i treated myself to a black leather fringed bag, thinking this was going to be one of my tossed on the whiltering bag stand of endless leather in the corner of my room jobs, I was gladly mistaken!

You know when you get one of those days where you actually look like 'this seasons spring summer look that you have got down to T' and didn't even realise.. 'what this old maxi skirt cropped jumper combo with additional fringed bag and suede shoes' Didn't even know it was in Vogue! Well i had it the other day, felt pretty good.

Once then realising that Rodeo/Wild Wild West/American Pie was a trend setting and slighlty appealing to ones eye who can only physically put on black look, i thought how fun it would be to dress up in gingham dresses and cowboy boots or you could totally rock a fringed jacket over maxi dresses. Easily a summer must thanks to these guys i'm lusting over anything Wild Wild West especially as i can only think of Will Smith while saying it, 'we going straight to the wild wild west'!
