A/W @ That Indie Look

Orange the colour of my hair, i like orange, i like Autumn! I love the clothes we have to snuggle up into, heritage, colour, welsh wool.

It seems that this A/W has taken a very seasonal approach never have i seen before a collection of clothes that has has sleeves and fur hems attached to so quickly! Even though the 70's still rules the roost when coming into next season as it's basically the longer versions of what we wore in the summer, pussy bow blouses with sleeves and tasseled hems on capes. The 1960's also makes a comeback with mini dresses worn over turtle necks and fur coats over PVC fetish.

Here's a look at what That Indie Look can inspire to inspire you with your A/W outfits, from colour to 70's, 60's to tailoring! We have it sorted :)

Missieur

Boyish tailoring is high on the agenda today, as i look outside and already see the autumn weather coming, i decided that it wouldn't be such a bad thing to start one of autumn/winters top trends right now. With the 70's groove still flowing through to the autumn it's no surprise that the mannish tailoring still has the Annie Hall feel. Not only can 70's inspired unisex tailoring be found, there is also a little touch of 60's high collaring and double breasted jackets. With polka dots, retro golden tones and emerald being the hot prints and colours the choices and looks you can achieve are endless and divine, I've got to say I've always wanted to live in the late 60's early 70's and this autumn i will be able to!

Top: 1. Bianca Jagger, 2.Annie Hall, 3.Patti Smith

Middle: 1. Yves Saint Laurent A/W 2011, 2. Acne A/W 2011, 3. Paul Smith A/W 2011, 4. Burberry Prorsum a/w 2011.

These items are the perfect necessities for the boyish tailoring trend. The key is to mix up more feminism fabrics and textures and play with colour, (golden tones and emerald being the favorites!) and print. These jumpers are perfect, hitting on trend colours and they have the collar to match.
